Follow these steps to connect your custom domain to your BlogStack.pro blog.

Add Domain in BlogStack.pro

  1. 1. Go to your blog settings in the dashboard
  2. 2. Navigate to the "Custom Domain" section
  3. 3. Enter your domain name (e.g., blog.yourdomain.com)
  4. 4. Click "Add Domain" to start the verification process

Configure DNS Records

Add the following DNS records to your domain provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, etc.):

CNAME Record
Name: blog (or your subdomain)
Value: cname.blogstack.pro
TTL: 300 (or Auto)
Alternative: A Record
Name: blog
Value: 185.199.108.153
TTL: 300
Note: DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to propagate worldwide, but typically take effect within 15-30 minutes.

Verify Domain

  1. 1. Wait for DNS changes to propagate (15-30 minutes)
  2. 2. Return to your BlogStack.pro domain settings
  3. 3. Click "Verify Domain" next to your custom domain
  4. 4. If successful, you'll see a green checkmark
Success! Once verified, your blog will be accessible at your custom domain with a free SSL certificate automatically configured.

Update Settings & Test

  1. 1. Set your custom domain as the primary domain
  2. 2. Update any hardcoded links in your content
  3. 3. Test your blog at the new domain
  4. 4. Verify SSL certificate is working (https://)
